Our growing DC Metro office is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with five+ years of experience in the consulting engineering field, who is passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to architects, owners, and general contractors, and have a desire to work as part of a multi-discipline engineering team. We value self-motivated individuals with an enthusiastic mindset, an interest to work on diverse projects, and attention to detail to deliver quality engineering services.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in mechanical engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering Registration (required)
• US Citizenship (required)
• Minimum 5+ years of consulting engineering experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Contractor Industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing engineering (required)
• Experience with International Building Code/International Mechanical code (required)
• Experience with ASHRAE Codes (required)
• Experience completing COMcheck
• Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Revit
• The desire and motivation to learn the latest technologies and practices to enhance your professional career.
• Mechanical and plumbing aptitude.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Active industry involvement (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a collaborate team environment utilizing project management skills.
• Business Development experience (preferred)
• Energy modeling experience is a plus.
