Provide guidance in establishing policies, processes and programs to enable Section 508 Compliance
• Provide oversight and governance to ensure compliance with 508 standards
• Interpret and provide guidance on Section 508 and related accessibility laws, regulations and standards.
• Design, develop, and implement test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure 508 accessibility compliance in the system.
• Ensure systems and enterprise capabilities comply with requirements and standards through formal verification methods.
• Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive system evaluation reports and risk assessments.
• Plan, create and execute test cases for Section 508 Compliance testing.
• Record problems/defects identified during testing and retest problems after they are resolved by the development team.
• Regularly update technical and business teams as to plans, progress, and issues.
• Communicate the status of testing, including reporting of overall test results.
• Verify compliance with 508 accessibility and Test for Section 508 compliance using automated testing solutions.
• Test for Section 508 compliance using JAWS and create VPAT according to the accessibility guidelines.
• Work with project manager to develop a plan to complete testing within identified time frames
• Adherence to agile and attendance at daily scrum to discuss accomplishments, plans and blockers.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Section 508 Compliance testing.
• Must have working knowledge of and experience with standard 508 testing tools (i.e. JAWS, Web Accessibility Tool Bar, Inspect. Etc.). JAWS preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
• Must have knowledge on Defect Management processes; preferably hands on experience with Defect Management Tools.
• Must have prior experience in Manual/ Functional Automation Testing.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Salary Information:

• The pay for this position ranges from $72,750 to $107,000.
• The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
