Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As our Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for Marketing Communications strategy and execution with a goal to drive target market awareness and customer engagement, demand generation, and ultimately sales growth. You will manage a small team that includes content creators and a marketing specialist that will collectively support content and campaign development and execution and work closely with many stakeholders across the organization to reach business goals.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with subject matter experts within the application and product marketing teams, sales organization, and broader METTLER TOLEDO units to deliver engaging content and campaigns to a highly targeted and technical audience in the Chemical Process Development market. This will include project managing and supporting various aspects of value content creation, development of campaign elements and sales tools, and execution through global marketing organizations and the local US organization.
  • Managing the AutoChem Marketing Communications Team and their activity, as well as leading projects with cross-functional teams, to continually build global market awareness, lead growth, and account engagement, with focus on ensuring consistent messaging and fulfillment of strategy.
  • Managing the development and execution of the local marketing activities for the US marketing organization, including supporting your team with coordination of in-person and virtual events with important contacts in the industry.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Marketing, eMarketing Manager, and others across the organization to define and develop the complete AutoChem marketing experience by determining positioning, developing messaging, and creating content for use in marketing campaigns and proactive sales efforts.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related science field and 5 years of experience in developing marketing campaigns for a scientific audience, or, 10 years of experience developing marketing campaigns for a scientific audience.
  • Knowledge of content creation as well as delivery and execution.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of copywriting and the ability to direct and manage the content creation and structure, defining, and proofreading of whitepapers.
  • Experience in scientific/technical environment.
  • Comfortability with 10-15% periodic travel for sales meetings and marketing events.
