The Technical Trainer for Brightview Senior Living develops and facilitates training programs for a wide range of technology applications used across the organization. This role partners closely with subject matter experts, systems teams, stakeholders and end users to ensure that systems training supports effective and robust adoption.

You will consult with various departments to support the continuous development of all Brightview associates by conducting needs analyses and subsequently designing, facilitating and measuring the success of training programs in multiple formats. Of equal importance, you will have the responsibility of serving as a culture-carrier throughout our communities.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing:

  • Partner closely with IT, Business Systems, SMEs, and other stakeholders to identify and deliver effective systems training solutions.
  • Design training programs, job aids, and evaluations and/or tailor vendor provided resources to incorporate unique Brightview requirements.
  • Facilitate training programs through classroom training courses, web-based seminars, informational meetings, written instruction, on-line courses, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Conduct needs analyses to determine specific training needs, program objectives, and content and determine what training intervention will support user confidence and adoption.
  • Continuously evaluate new and current systems to identify the most effective training delivery methods and sustainable training programs for both new and existing users; update training materials on a regular basis to ensure that content is current and adequate to meet business demands.
  • Create turn-key training tools for managers and subject matter experts to deliver, including written materials, job aids, and exercises to support learning.
  • Develop, deliver, and analyze evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness.
  • Confer with management and stay abreast of both company-wide and community-specific changes and potential training needs.
  • Research alternative delivery methods for diverse audiences in remote locations; recommend new tools, technology, and formats for delivering the most effective, efficient, and cost-effective training possible

Qualifications

You may be a great fit if you have:

  • Minimum of five years experience in designing and facilitating dynamic systems training, clinical applications training; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university a plus.
  • Experience in the senior living or healthcare industry preferred.
  • Advanced technical skills with the ability to quickly master new applications; experience with online design programs such as Articulate preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to speak to and facilitate discussion with diverse audiences, including large groups.
  • Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to connect and communicate effectively, in English, with associates of all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
