The School of Nursing is seeking a Research Assistant for a clinical trial of a lifestyle-based intervention for adults who are pregnant and postpartum implemented in home visiting programs in Maryland. The Research Assistant will report to the Principal Investigator and work closely with the Program Manager and the study team to facilitate study-related goals. This position participates with the Health Coach Manager, Principal Investigators, Intervention Director, and Research Manager in the plans required to accomplish all study protocols and program goals. This position could be shared with another Healthy for Two, NIH-funded project pending hours available.
About the research study
Healthy for Two - Home Visiting is an effectiveness-implementation hybrid trial funded by NIH to assess the effect of remotely delivered health coaching on pregnancy weight gain/retention and to inform future sustainability in prenatal home visiting programs. The trial aims to recruit a diverse population including Black and Latina participants.
