Datawatch Systems, Inc., a leader in commercial building electronic access control, is seeking Lead Technician to install and service our access control systems in commercial buildings in our VA region.
Pay rate is $22-$25/hour based on experience plus benefits, paid time off, company vehicle, computer and phone. Applicants must be willing to submit to a drug screening and criminal background check. EOE/M/F/V/D-DCJS #11-2294
- Collaborate with other Datawatch departments to install access control systems
- Assign responsibilities to technicians and ensure their work is completed according to protocol
- Work in new construction or existing building to install low-voltage cabling
- 1 to 2 years of experience with installing access control and CCTV equipment
- Have practical experience with building life safety systems, cable installation techniques, and access control components
- Detailed oriented and must have a willingness to learn
- Must be able to climb ladders and be able to lift 50 lbs
- Have a HS diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license required
- Experience with Access Control, CCTV, Northern & ADEMCO preferred.
