DESCRIPTION: MSK TriTech Group, LLC (MSK), a wholly owned subsidiary of Patricio Enterprises, is looking to fill a Senior Budget Analyst position at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Provide general knowledge and "hands on" experience using the Army's General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) software/database or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.
  • Provide assistance in analyzing and resolving issues related to Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) Financials (FI), and Asset Management (AM) and GFEBS transaction codes.
  • Provide assistance in resolving SAP IDOC errors for various financial and supply chain interfaces which include Government Purchase Cards, Defense Travel System, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders; additionally, resolves unmatched transactions and Unliquidated Obligations.
  • Research and resolve dormant accounts in ADVANA.
  • Provide analysis of civilian payroll postings and facilitates corrections of erroneous budget postings.
  • Provide assistance and support for Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives.
  • Prepare Work Breakdown Structures, Sales Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests.
  • Create, fund, and maintain Transportation Account Codes.
  • Maintain spend plan for each program.
  • Transition to G-Invoice capability.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Hold appropriate SAP certifications.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate proposed programs and expenditures.
  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, interpret financial records, detect errors, and prepare financial reports.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS or higher.
  • Eight or more years experience providing budget & financial support for a Defense Acquisition program office.
  • Extensive working experience with w/DoD/Army Financial databases (GFEBS & LMP).
  • An additional eight years experience in a related field may be substituted for education.
  • A Masters degree may be substituted for four years of experience, as long as the degree is in a related field.

This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 20 lbs.

Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control and writing. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.
