Position: Analytical Laboratory Summer Intern

Location: East St. Louis, IL

Reports To: Plant Manger

Hourly Role: $15/hour

SCOPE OF POSITION

The laboratory summer intern provides direct support to laboratory staff in support of multiple manufacturing plants in addition to Water Chemicals and Acid business groups through analytical data generation and sample management. This is accomplished through but not limited to the responsibilities presented below.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sample retain management,
  • Specification database project work,
  • Product sample blending, packaging and shipment
  • Chemical inventory and disposition activities and
  • Chemical SDS inventory management.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Enrolled or have completed college or university program an asset
  • Demonstrate team skills and a desire to participate in project activities.
  • Experience with computer, desired.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
