Montgomery Child Care Association, Inc. has an immediate opening for the following positions:

• Position: Substitute Preschool Aide
  • Responsible for teaching children MCCA’s before and after school child care program. Daily activities include fun outdoor play time and creating engaging learning opportunities for children.
  • Qualifications: must be 16 years or older and experience working with Preschool children, ages 1-5.
• Position: Substitute School Age Aide
  • Responsible for teaching children MCCA’s before and after school child care program. Daily activities include fun outdoor play time and creating engaging learning opportunities for children.
  • Qualifications: must be 16 years or older and experience working with Preschool children, ages 5-12
• Position: Substitute Preschool Teacher
  • Responsible for teaching children MCCA’s before and after school child care program. Daily activities include fun outdoor play time and creating engaging learning opportunities for children.
  • Qualifications: Must be at least 19 years old.; High School diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence; Six semester hours, 90 Hour Preschool Certification or CDA (Child Development Associate), ages 1-5.
• Position: Substitute School Age Teacher
  • Responsible for teaching children MCCA’s before and after school child care program. Daily activities include fun outdoor play time and creating engaging learning opportunities for children.
  • Qualifications: Must be at least 19 years old; High School diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence; Six semester hours, 90 Hour Preschool Certification or CDA (Child Development Associate), ages 5-12.

• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and implementing daily activities.
• Engage with children throughout the day and implement appropriate guidance techniques in line with classroom expectations.
• Talk and listen to children respectfully during the activities and routines.
• Attend and participate in weekly team and staff meetings
• Assist the classroom teacher in maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom snacks and support children in developing social skills.
• Be alert and attentive to children at all times to ensure safety and proper supervision.
• Smile and greet children and families and assist children in transition times.
• Follow all MCCA and Licensing policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
