Responsibilities

• Serves as Common Access Card (CAC) customer service specialist
• Operates and maintains RAPIDS workstations, processes CACs, assists customers with questions concerning identification card eligibility, application requirements and DEERS, and answers telephone inquiries.
• Accomplishes DEERS enrollment and updates for all eligible beneficiaries, reconciles erroneous DEERS information, performs PIN resets, verifying and updating PKI certificates, and provides other services as necessary.
• Responsible for the safekeeping, storing, and accountability of the CAC and related consumable materials.
• Maintains RAPIDS equipment within the physical parameters and configurations.

• Executes administration and coordination of DC3 security programs to ensure compliance with Defense and DC3 security policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Ensures compliance with security standards and provides guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions such as personnel security, information, and system security, COMSEC, physical security.
• Provides administrative security support associated with the receipt, distribution, inventory, reproduction, and disposition of classified material.
• Reviews applications for security clearances and clearance renewals.
• Administers and maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification and safeguard of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property.
• Develops and conducts security briefings and security education programs.
• Provides oversight for programs for the protection of classified information as well as propriety information.
• Supervises preparation, transmittal, and receipt of visitor certifications.
• Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.
• Manages the continuing eligibility program for personnel using e-QIP, Scattered Castles, and DISS (Defense Information System for Security).
• Periodically inspects the facility to ensure physical security measures.
• Contributes to development, review, and disposition of standing operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• May act as Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) for projects.

Qualifications

  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Knowledge of Federal and/or DoD security policies and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented customer service professional.

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
