Software Engineer, Senior Advisor

Peraton is seeking a Software Engineer for Data Flow coordination to support deployed and new installations. Candidate will work with other team members on various levels of operating systems, applications and related support in the Linux environment. Duties may include installing/configuring data transport applications to include mailorder, jdts and niagrafiles, coordinating with customers to ensure data paths are established from customer sites to back-end repositories, implementing the data flow requirements for new deployments or upgrades, and conducting data flow tests at customer sites and follow up activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required with fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, totaling 18 years of SWE experience.
• Experience installing and configuring data transport applications to include mailorder, jdts and niagrafiles.
• Knowledge of RedHat Linux or advanced general Linux
• Familiarity with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data flow regulations.
• Knowledge of collection systems and SIGINT data knowledge. 
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
