We are looking for an enthusiastic graphic design marketing intern to join our marketing department. The right candidate will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies, as well as excellent knowledge of graphic design using Adobe's InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies and best practices. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Perform market analysis and research
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities
  • Help distribute marketing materials
  • Manage and update menus, digital screens, printed materials, etc.
  • Help organize marketing events according to the marketing plan and marketing calendar

Requirements

  • Graphic design portfolio
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques, especially social media and digital
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Design Suite as described above
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. Online analytics and Google Adwords)
  • Passion for the marketing industry and best practices
Job Summary

As an intern, you will be working closely with Compass Group leaders to develop skills and competencies to be successful in your prospective industry. You will gain valuable experience in any of the following areas: operations, marketing, administration, guest services, problem solving, planning and implementation of innovative projects, and client relationship skills. This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development. This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
