POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of Teresa C. Chen, MD, the incumbent will be responsible to support ophthalmic clinical studies, which involve glaucoma and spectral domain and swept source optical coherence tomography (OCT). The assistant will help with patient recruitment and data collection, as described below. This person will be also be responsible to complete basic regulatory and administrative tasks for the lab.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in a computer room with fellow employees to process data and analyzing data. Also works with minimal supervision in a high-volume service area. Interacts with patients and physicians and is responsive to fellow employees with recruiting study patients.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimal.
