Program Overview:

This position will primarily support the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Departmental Administration Information Technology Office (DAITO) in a billable capacity.

USDA has a requirement to consolidate and enhance existing web content management capabilities to support current and future needs while reducing costs. To meet these goals, the DAITO IO/Departmental Administration Information Technology Office (DAITO) has identified Drupal, the open source web content management system, as the new standard web development platform for USDA.GOV public websites and technology for this robust eWAPS system. The Drupal open source Content Management System (CMS) offers a dynamic solution for a user-centered experience that can utilize multimedia efforts already completed by DAITO.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Sr. Solutions Architect to provide accurate, deliverable, competitive, and profitable solutions in support of RIVA Solutions' services opportunities. This person will participate in the full solution and roadmap development cycle, while interacting closely with our clients and internal stakeholders to drive services expansion and transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in IT/Cloud Solutioning activities and is familiar with Solutioning processes, tools, and methodologies to support the security offerings
• Lead technical solution design, advise on staffing levels, and create basis-of-estimates for technical solutions
• Provides subject matter expertise (SME) related to security solutions
• Actively collaborates with peers to leverage security expertise to win sales pursuits
• Works effectively with the RIVA Solutions IT practice to incorporate the latest offerings into RIVA Solutions IT portfolio

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Cloud Migrations on an Enterprise Level
• Excellent knowledge and experience of the federal business development and acquisition process
• Familiarity with architecting solutions related to IT, Cloud, RPA, and ITSM in Federal Environments
• Knowledge of Federal IT security and compliance requirements such as FISMA & FedRAMP
• Proven ability to write technical aspects of Proposals, RFPs, RFIs and other solicitations
• Strong experience assisting with technical writing for proposal efforts on a variety of IT areas including Cloud Hosting, Cloud Migration, IT Operations & Maintenance, Service Desk & Application Development
• Ability to work with open source tools & technologies
• Experience in FISMA, AWS, Cloud, DevOps, RPA technical environments
• 10-15 Years of experience in this or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with a variety of vendors and technologies including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure
