We are seeking a Radiology Student Intern for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:
  • You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department.
  • You will demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
  • You will help facilitate day to day operations of the Imaging Department.
  • You will assess patients/families ability to learn and incorporate teaching.
  • You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients

The 128-bed Parkridge East Hospital in East Ridge provides a full range of medical and surgical services, such as orthopedics and robotic surgery. Our 24/7 Emergency Department is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The Birth Place at Parkridge East offers a comfortable, private setting in which families welcome new additions. Our 22-bassinet level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) offers comprehensive care for babies born at less than 28 weeks gestation or with critical illnesses.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a 24-month accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Current BLS
