The Sales & Marketing Intern will assist in the improvement of Biomatrica’s sales and marketing initiatives and process developments. The position is intended to be a part-time opportunity for a business undergraduate to obtain hands-on sales and marketing experience in commercial operations while contributing to the sales and marketing improvements efforts and overall business goals. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

• Assist Sales and Marketing staff with Brand and Identity Market research
• Assist Sales and Marketing staff with Social Media initiatives
• Assist Sales and Marketing staff with Competitive Intelligence initiatives
• Assist Sales and Marketing staff with Tradeshow and Sales Conference initiatives
• Assist Sales and Marketing staff with customer data improvement initiatives
• Assist Sales and Marketing staff with customer outreach initiatives
• Understand Order Fulfillment process and Assist with process improvements keeping customer experience in mind

Minimum Requirements

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Excel
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be highly organized and able to produce high quality work as a part of a team
• Excellent organization and communication skills, including but not limited to, writing, verbal, interpersonal and diplomacy
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a deadline-controlled environment
• Ability to work in fast paced environment while producing quality work
• Enrollment towards a Bachelor's degree in Business in Junior or Senior standing

Preferred Requirements

• Preference given to candidates with a record of outstanding academic achievement
• Some Sales and Marketing experience preferred
• Knowledge or experience in operations setting beneficial
• Knowledge in Sales Force Dot Com or other CRM software and services
