You can G.R.O.W. with Us by becoming our Human Resources Intern Recology's Human Resoources internship offers the opportunity to: Work side-by-side with the Corporate Human Resources Team to execute HR initiatives, process improvement, and projects. Network with professionals who share your interests. Assist with a variety of projects in all functional areas of Human Resources (i.e. compensation, benefits, onboarding, HRIS). Be mentored to help your career development over the 12 weeks. Get hands-on experience and emerge with the tools you need to jump start your career.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Performs assigned tasks in functional area. Analyzes data and/or potential issues and makes recommendations for solutions. Performs analysis of data, information, and research. Completes special projects. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Currently in senior year of undergraduate coursework or have recently graduated in the field of Human Resources. Applications from graduate students are also encouraged. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or greater. Feel passionate about our vision: Recology sees a world without waste. Self-starter with superior follow-through and task completion. Creative problem solver; able to work independently to produce quality results. Thrives in fast-paced environment and maintains a sense of humor. Able to work full-time Monday thru Friday from May 28th through August 16th.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Ability to write, create and assemble reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively research, work with data, and present information. Ability to solve practical problems with a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to work with multiple departments to help achieve goals and objectives. An interest in a career within Human Resources. Ability to accept delegated responsibilities and follow through to completion.
