Financial Analyst Job Opening at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI

St. Mary's Hospital is currently recruiting for a full-time Financial Analyst. Under the general direction of the Budget Manager, the Financial Analyst assists in preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets, prepares the quarterly submission for the Premier Operations Advisor benchmarking database and provides administration, senior management and other department directors with timely and accurate clinical and financial information to support the critical planning, management and decision making process. Associate's Degree required. Minimum of two years general accounting experience required. Health care or audit experience preferred. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and functions, and government regulations as related to health care. Analytical skill and ability to develop new and innovative reports, procedures, processes, etc. Knowledge of various software applications including Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.

Full time, salaried. 80 hours in a two week pay period. M-F Between 8am-4:30pm.
