Position/Internship Description

5. Internship Number and Title: IN-12007 - Part-time Corporate Partner Marketing Summer Intern

Department: Marketing & Communications - Marketing

Stipend: $15/hour

Duration: 10 hours/week (ideally Tuesdays/ Thursdays) for 10 weeks (May/June - July/August)

Internship Description: The Corporate Partner Marketing team engages with corporations to develop integrated, consumer-facing campaigns that enable corporations and their customers to show their support and to contribute actively to conservation. These collaborations are specifically designed to increase public awareness about WWF and to generate revenue for WWF's global conservation efforts; a corporation is in turn able to distinguish their products and services from other companies and earn favorable support from their customer base by partnering with an important cause. The Corporate Partner Marketing Intern will be a contributing member of the team, working closely with staff on new business development and management of current partnerships, in addition to providing some administrative support.

Requirements:

  • College junior or senior, ideally with a concentration in marketing
  • Interest in Cause Marketing specifically (the intersection between corporations and causes)
  • Familiarity with corporate CSR initiatives and trends
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Excellent writing and research skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organized, self-motivated and flexible
