Position Description

Overview
As a Reverse Engineer with CyberPoint, you will bring your creativity, problem solving skills and software development abilities to work with a team of experts dedicated to providing insightful service to clients that require intelligence on the operation of malicious code.

Your responsibilities will be focused on collaborating with clients and teammates, evaluating software, and delivering detailed analyses and innovative solutions on a range of critical cyber security matters.

To be a successful member of the CyberPoint Reverse Engineering Team, you should possess the following:

Qualifications
Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering
  • 3+ years of directly related experience with reverse engineering procedures
  • Fluent in x86 assembly language - Intel and AT&T formats
  • Extensive experience with open source RE software such as OllyDbg (1.10 & 2.0), Immunity Debugger, PaiMei, IDAPython
  • Well-versed in commercial RE software such as Adaro (HexRays decompiler), BinNavi and BinDiff
  • Able to develop IDAPro and OllyDbg plug-ins
  • Solid understanding of Windows Portable Executable (PE) format
  • Able to reverse both C and C++ programs, and occasionally .NET and Java
  • Exceptional problem solving skills are a must
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience reversing packed binaries, e.g. UPX, ASPack, Shrinke
  • Experience with Linux Executable and Linker Format (ELF) a plus
  • Knowledge of ASProtect SKE a plus
  • Experience with non-standard assembly language, e.g. MIPS, a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is a plus
Additional Qualifications:
  • An active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance with polygraph is required.
