The Psychiatric Institute of Washington provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. We are a short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. The Psychiatric Institute of Washington is a drug-free and smoke-free workplace. GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Psychiatric Technicians will be responsible for supervising and delivering care to patients aged 5-65+ years of age congruent with the philosophy and standards of practice defined by the Nursing Dept. Will provide direct patient care to assigned patients under the supervision of an RN, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment for patients and ensures the physical environment is safe and secure.
MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. One year or more of experience working in a job related field in a clinical/healthcare setting. Current CPR certification.
