We are currently seeking a Member Service Representative for the Main State Branch location. The incumbent in this role is accountable for ensuring the member experience is exceptional for current and potential members by uncovering financial needs, and through conducting transactions efficiently and accurately.
The Member Service Representative will contribute their expertise towards the operational excellence of the branch. He/she will model the key branch sales techniques designed to cultivate needs based sales opportunities and develop long term profitable relationships with existing and prospective members. In this position the incumbent is also accountable for actively participating in all branch sales efforts to assist in building a high performing sales team.
The right person for this position will have the ability to interview applicants for membership and verify eligibility; open new accounts and make changes to existing accounts; interview members applying for loans, ensure accurate loan information and documentation is obtained and documented in SDFCU’s lending system and the ability to review and discuss credit information with the applicant.
This position may require working weekends and/or extended hours and regular, reliable attendance is critical
