Volunteer - Spiritual Services
Welcome to Prince George's Hospital Center Spiritual Services. Thank you for your interest in obtaining privileges. To carry out our mission, the Spiritual staff at Prince George's Hospital Center strives to provide the following support services to our patient and their families 24 hours a day, seven days a week:
- Personal visitations to provide spiritual support.
- Compassionate care for patients of all spiritual traditions.
- Help, support and spiritual reflection through life changes brought about by sudden and chronic illness.
- Prayer and blessing.
- Sacraments such as Holy Communion.
- Religious books, and devotional resources for patients and their families.
- Connections with local worshiping communities.
- Ministry for the dying and their loved ones.
