FIBERPLUS, Inc. (FPI) began in 1992 With a vision from company owner and retired Navy and war veteran Carl Strobel, FIBERPLUS, Inc. (FPI) was created in 1992. Mr. Strobel’s goal was two-fold: (1)Establish a premier telecommunications company with a strong emphasis on service, quality and value; (2) Utilize the latest telecommunications industry technology to create the best possible solutions for customers.

Within the first year of operation, FPI won a large Department of Defense contract for installation of telecommunication infrastructure. Then in 1995, FPI won the first-ever State of Maryland contract for all network cabling. During these early years FPI learned the value of customer satisfaction.

Today, customer satisfaction remains as one of the company’s top core beliefs and is consistently practiced by our entire team of telecom professionals. FPI’s list of services has grown to meet the demands of advancing technology and includes structured cable solutions and infrastructure build-out utilizing fiber optics, coaxial, and copper cable for voice, data, video, camera, access control and radio systems. These services include premise and outside plant work as well as network electronics, design, maintenance, administration, testing and project management.
