Job Title: Operations Manager-Residential Furniture
Location: Greater Baltimore Area (local candidates preferred, or willing to relocate within a few weeks)
Work Environment: Onsite in Greater Baltimore-Area, No Remote
Department: Logistics and Event Support
Basic Function:
The Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing and streamlining warehouse operations, particularly in the context of logistics for residential furniture. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of managing teams, maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Salary and Compensation:
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum.
- Bonus: Discretionary bonuses based on individual performance, the performance of the warehouse branch, and the overall performance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation in line with budgetary constraints.
- Supervise daily operations, including quality control, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Conduct performance reviews and handle leave requests.
- Drive cost-effective practices without compromising service quality.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organized facility.
- Facilitate training and professional development for team members.
- Handle administrative tasks related to operations and personnel.
Skills/Experience Requirement:
Strong background in residential furniture services, with previous experience and tenure with furniture organizations consisting of furniture warehouse operations management experience. Experience in a leadership role with a larger commercial moving company is also acceptable.
- Physical ability to handle weights up to 75 pounds.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in budget management, planning, and time management.
- Commitment to ethical practices and excellent customer service.
- Effective team management and delegation abilities.
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
