Bring your industry experience to Howard Community College as a part-time adjunct faculty in our Apprenticeship and Workforce Innovation unit. The need for part-time instructors is anticipated to continue to rise, and the division is recruiting qualified applicants with a variety of skills and proven teaching ability for the following categories of classes:
- Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Technician (CCT)
- Comp TIA A+
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ (ITF+)
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- ITIL 4 Foundation
- Linux Essentials Professional Development Certification (PDC)
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
- PMI Certified Associate in project Management (CAPM)
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the IT field in your area of expertise. Current active certifications/licenses are required. A minimum of two references is required. Teaching experience is a plus! Must be available on weekends and evenings. Technology proficiency is required, as well as access to high speed internet and computer.

General Responsibilities | Instructors will utilize multiple teaching methods, including online instruction, face to face skills training and simulation activities. Instructors will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the student experience. |
